Postharvest

 

The ambition of this programme is to solve the main postharvest problems in fruits and vegetables in a comprehensive way, from harvest to once they reach the consumer so that their quality is improved, shelf life expanded and waste minimised. Some aspects of this programme are related to physiology, technology, pathology and engineering in addition to fruit and vegetable processing from technological and food safety perspectives.
