The overall objective of the project is to obtain new varieties of apple, pear and peach trees, resistant to the main high economic impact diseases afecting fruit production areas of Catalonia, having at the same time high quality and being adapted to the climatic conditions of these production areas, characterized by a warm and dry weather during the summer period.
