TUBERSYSTEMS: Design and implementation of sustainable multiproductive systems in truffle culture and analysis of the associated ecosystem services

Starting date: 01/01/2019 End date: 31/12/2022
Programme: Sustainable plant protection

Financing entities:

The general hypothesis proposes that the implementation of sustainable managing systems, based on deep knowledge of the interactions between macro and microorganisms, will provide an improvement of the ecosystem services related to truffle farming. To validate this general hypothesis we have designed three main objectives that will allow us to optimize the design of multiproductive plantations through the study of complementary aspects of the ecology of the black truffle in three different production systems: monospecific truffle plantations, mixed truffle plantations with aromatic plants, and wild truffle production areas.
