The objectives of the project are:
1. Evaluation of dietary strategies to minimize heat stress of pigs due to high temperatures.
2. Evaluation of cooling the drinking water to improve thermoregulation and feed intake of pigs during the hot season. 3. To assess surface available per pig and double trough width in order to improve feed intake of pigs during the hot season
4. To assess a system with automatic showers and ventilation activated by pigs as a strategy to reduce heat stress.
