SAFFI has the overall goal to develop an integrated approach to enhance the identification, assessment, detection and mitigation of safety risks raised by biological and chemical hazards all along with the EU and Chinese infant food chains. This project will focus on infant food (i.e. food for children of less than three years according to ANSES’ infant Total Diet Study (iTDS, 2010-2016)), as the crosscutting nature of this specific sector will allow transferring project outcomes to most of the other food sectors.
